What are the benefits of having my carpet or furniture professionally cleaned rather than doinig it myself?
You can clean carpets and upholstery yourself but you cannot rent equipment that works as well as professional equipment. Doing it yourself will make your carpet look clean, but it will only clean the top of the pile. Because of this, your carpet will look dirty sooner than if it were professionally cleaned. Before I started this company, I used to clean my own carpets with a Bissel machine. I cleaned them once a month and spent a fortune on the chemicals. Now that I have professional equipment, my cleanings are only done twice a year. I don’t recommend cleaning your upholstery yourself. There is a lot that can go wrong if cleaned improperly. The fabric can shrink, the colors can bleed, your white & cream colored couch can turn brown, and you can even end up growing mold inside your furniture.
