What are the benefits of having a single Professional Development Committee (PDC)?

Having a single committee guiding and overseeing implementation of SfN’s professional development strategy helps the Society respond to expressed member needs and serve a growing and increasingly diverse membership. The PDC will facilitate cross-fertilization of ideas and build on the successful approaches and models developed by the Committee on Women in Neuroscience (C-WIN) and the Committee on Diversity in Neuroscience (C-DIN). The new committee and revised professional development strategy will provide enhanced and more coordinated career development opportunities.
