What are the benefits of giving feedback to our students writing? Why?

Two benefits to giving students feedback on their writing include them learning their writing weaknesses and strengths and include saving the teacher lots of time. Through the comments, they are able to learn what they’re doing right and what they’re doing wrong. They will able to see what skill they should focus on. It also saves the teacher time because students won’t be constantly asking the teacher why they got that score or what they part of their writing they should focus on. Hope this helped.
