What are the benefits of getting a 35mm digital SLR camera?
By ’35mm’ I assume you mean ‘Full Frame’ sensor DSLRs. There are many advantages of full frame sensors over APS-C sensors. They are better at light gathering so naturally, better in low light situations, have less noise in images and 100% viewfinders (just to name a few examples), image quality is also superb. APS-C sensors are also superb, I have an APS-C sensor in my Canon 40D and it has it’s advantages for me (which I will mention in a moment) Full frame sensors are popular with landscape and fashion photographers, I like to use an APS-C sensor and am not intending to make the jump to full frame because I do a lot of wildlife photography. When lenses are fitted my camera the sensor has something called a ‘Crop Factor’.
