What are the benefits of farmers’ self help groups?
Farmer Self Help Groups (FSHGs) are village level institutions comprising of 10-20 like minded farmers of the same village. The objectives of the FSHGs are to facilitate collective marketing of raw materials and agricultural produce, to own common agricultural assets, to create a habit of regular savings and to leverage credit from financial institutions for agricultural purpose.
