In addition to completing six upper-division university courses designed to develop your negotiation skills, the Marylhurst program also requires students to complete a final project or internship, to put classroom learning into practice. Marylhurst has partnerships with Clackamas County Dispute Resolutions Services and Multnomah County Court, providing apprenticeships in community, neighborhood and court mediation. As a Marylhurst University student/alum, you can join SOLUTIONS, an organization designed to help you further develop your mediation skills and to network with individuals and organizations. Finally, you may apply these 20 credits towards a Marylhurst bachelor’s degree, choosing from majors such as communication studies, business and leadership, or human studies.
