What are the benefits of collecting data for the AUSSE?
Collecting data for the AUSSE, using the Student Engagement Questionnaire (SEQ), is very valuable as it provides real-time information on learning processes, offers the most reliable proxy measure of learning outcomes, provides excellent diagnostic measures for enhancement activities, assists with identifying ways to attract and retain students, highlights the value of a university experience, and helps manage resources, and monitor programs and services. Participating in the AUSSE also allows your university institutions to benchmark against international and institutional points of reference, however, an institution may choose to participate in the AUSSE, it is not mandatory.
