CBT allows ABPANC to offer candidates many more testing opportunities. When CBT launches in 2009, ABPANC will offer two, 6-week long testing windows in the spring and fall. Candidates will have approximately 60 days of testing opportunities per year versus two testing dates available currently with the paper-and-pencil format. Testing via computer also allows ABPANC to offer candidates access to hundreds of test sites without the need to schedule special sites and access pass/fail information immediately.
