What are the benefits of being certified with NCMA as compared to other organizations?
NCMA’s certification program has been in existence for over 30 years. It is widely recognized as the premier certification program for contract managers. Many employers seek NCMA certification when hiring employees or considering existing employees for promotion. NCMA’s Fall 2005 Salary Survey demonstrated the value of certification. Of the over 2,200 professionals polled, those holding NCMA’s CFCM reported earning $10,000 more per year than those who were not certified. For those holding the CPCM the difference was $25,000 per year. While there are certifications available in closely related fields, for those who identify themselves professionally as Contract Managers there is no finer choice than NCMA certification.
