What are the benefits of an integrated solution?
Each emergency response domain has successfully been using application systems that allow them to perform the functions of their domain, from EMS and hospitals using systems to track patients and identify treatment administered, to 9-1-1 using Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems and Emergency Managers using Critical Incident Management Software (CIMS). However, each domain enters information separately, often duplicating effort or not sharing information that could aid in doing their jobs better. By bringing together these separate information silos, a whole new picture can be created that will significantly improve response efforts and save lives in the process.
