Outstanding durability — because of its strong structure and material, there is less chance of the filter media collapsing or rupturing. Higher oil flow rate – its less restrictive and superior filtration capability (constant pore size) provides and distributes oil pressure evenly (low differential pressure), thus providing a higher performance. Less Lubricant Oil Consumption (LOC) since there is a higher oil flow, there is less friction on the internal engine parts, less heat is generated, and less oil is consumed. Having more oil on moving parts can decrease the amount of engine noise. More environmentally friendly since the filter is made of 98.85% steel (everything except the rubber gasket and anti-drain valve), it can be easily recycled.
