What are the benefits in becoming a firefighter?
A. Ask any firefighter why they volunteer and you will get many answers. This is something that becomes very personal with each firefighter. Aside from serving your community there are no hard line benefits. The mere satisfaction that you feel deep within yourself when you help an elderly person or prevent someones house from burning to the ground or most noticeable is the look you get from a child when you hand them their favorite toy or pet that is saved in a house fire and then you will know just how good the benefits are.
