What are the benefits available to Class Members?
Class Members who paid to repair a defective parking brake are eligible to receive monetary benefits from the $12 million Allowed Claim: • Tier One: On a pro rata basis, up to the amount of money actually spent by any Participating Class Member to repair the defective parking brake within the warranty period (which is for three years/36,000 miles, but longer warranty period for Cadillacs). Must be an actual out-of-pocket expense, and proof of expenditure for parking brake repairs is required in order to receive this reimbursement. • Tier Two: On a pro rata basis, up to $150.00 for any Participating Class Member who actually spend money to repair the defective parking brake up to two years beyond expiration of the vehicle’s warranty period (which is for three years/36,000 miles, but longer warranty period for Cadillacs).
