What are the benefits and drawbacks of Otherkin abilities?
Like any other magickal and/or psi talents, Otherkin abilities are often twofold ‘blessings’ as well. With each Gift there’s at least a certain amount of responsibility in how it is used, and often there are other hardships that come along with it. For instance, an empath gets the benefits of sensing people’s pleasant emotions and the drawbacks of sensing people’s unpleasant emotions. There are so many such abilities, benefits and drawbacks, that it’s impossible to cover them in this FAQ.
