What are the basic steps to getting a Nova Scotia Class 5 Drivers Licence?
□ Study the Nova Scotia Drivers Handbook: http://www.gov.ns.ca/snsmr/rmv/handbook The NS Drivers Handbook is also available for purchase from our Wolfville office. □ Complete an Application for Driver Licensing (Form 1) and show the required identification; if you are under 18, your parent/guardian must sign the application to provide consent. You may pick this Form 1 up from our Wolfville office. □ Consider registering for a recognized Driver Education Program; if you prefer, you can start the classroom part of the Driver Education Program before you get your Learners Licence. □ Purchase a Knowledge Test Receipt (at Access NS, or online beforehand see link below), and then pass the Vision, Road Signs and Rules tests.
