The goal of Blackjack is to beat the Dealer’s hand without going over 21. Each card is worth its face value and face cards (Kings, Queens and Jacks) are worth 10. Aces are worth 1 or 11. What are the basic Blackjack actions? At the start of a round of Blackjack, you can choose from two different actions: • Deal – Deal cards using your current bet. • Set Bet – Change your bet amount. After cards have been dealt, the following different actions are available, depending on the situation: • Hit – Receive an additional card. You can hit until you have 7 cards in the hand. • Stand – Stop receiving additional cards. The Dealer then draws cards. • Double – Receive a final additional card and double your bet. The Dealer then draws cards. You can only double your initial hand • Split – Split your initial hand in two and place another identical bet for the new hand. You can only split if your initial hand contains two cards of the same value. If you split Aces, you only receive one additional car
