What are the basic requirements to become a Flight Attendant?
Minimum age requirement is 18-21 (18 for some of the smaller carriers that do not serve alcohol) – there is no maximum age, however! Body shape should be proportional and height between 5’0″ – 6’4″. You must be able to reach the overhead bins and fit into a jumpseat. You must also be able to pass a background check, possess a high school diploma or equivalent (though a college degree is preferred), and have vision correctable to at least 20/40.
