What are the basic requirements for recording my document?
All documents submitted for recordation must include the correct fees, have at least a one-inch margin at the top of the form and one-half inch margin on both sides and along the bottom; and must include the names of the parties involved, which we refer to as the grantor and the grantee. State law does require a mailing address of the grantee on all deeds recorded for the purpose of transferring ownership of real estate property.
