What are the basic requirements for migration under the skilled visa categories?
Your nominated occupation should have been assessed by relevant Australian assessing authority as suitable for migration, have satisfied the English language requirement, have no less than 12 months work experience in the past 24 months (unless you have obtained an Australian degree, diploma or trade as a result of a minimum 2 year study in an accredited school or university in Australia within the past 6 months), and no more than 45 years of age. In addition, you need to pass a point test to be successful.
