A 4 week old is able to stablize its body temperature as long as it is indoors and not subject to extreme hot or cold. It still needs clean bedding. It may or may not have started eating semi solid food. If it has, you are lucky. If not, you have a couple weeks of touch and go. If it has, you can leave a dish of puppy kibble and fresh water available near its bed at all times. Some at this age will actually eat as needed, but most will not.
