To estimate the minimum amount of memory needed to run both applications, add the following values: For the Administration Center: 512 MB For the Tivoli Storage Manager server: 32 MB + (the value specified for the BUFPOOLSIZE server option, in MB) + (1 MB x the number specified by the MAXSESSIONS server option) Other memory requirements, such as those for the operating system and any other applications, should also be factored into the total.
