What are the basic ethical principles you value?

I have done a lot of thinking on this and the purpose of life in the past, so I believe I can construct four solid ethical principles. They come from very careful deliberation about life and what is important. Wisdom – in order to achieve what one desires, one must analyze and find the path. This can only be accomplished through wisdom or dumb luck. It is also important to note that wisdom accounts for incorrect rationale, such as entering Vietnam to defend democracy and creulty (good, right?) when their people did not want our presence, we were fighting an unwinnable war, and the costs of lives and tangibles were large. Wisdom can only be attained through complete knowledge, analysis, and the training onself in such disciplines. Moral Equivalence – this means that one must treat his/her self as all others. By this, I mean basically that you should treat others how you would want to be treated, but also that ignoring your own personal interests in favor of the interests of two or more
