What are the baggage allowances when travelling to Australia?

0

The free baggage allowance for international Economy Class is 20kg (44lbs), Business Class 30kg (66lbs) and First Class 40kg (88lbs). On domestic flights the free allowance for checked baggage is 3 bags for Business Class passengers and 1 bag for passengers travelling in Economy Class. The total linear dimension of each piece should not exceed 140cm (54 inches) or weigh more than 32kg (70lbs). Please check your flight tickets carefully for any exceptions, in particular for internal flights within the destination you are visiting. Restrictions apply on flights to many of the smaller island resorts in Australia and also on coach tours and cruises – please check with your travel consultant.
