Three types of backing stores are supported: in memory, relational database and LDAP . The relational databases are supported via JDBC and the ones that have been certified with the Naming Service are Oracle, Sybase, JDataStore, DB2, Interbase and MS SQL. For JDataStore, a DataExpress adaptor is developed.
