What Are the Backflow Prevention Program Requirements?

0

A.Both the Boulder Revised Code and State of Colorado Regulation ( Article 12 of the Colorado Primary Drinking Water Regulation) require that BFPAs be installed and tested annually by a certified backflow prevention tester. Tests must be done annually as specified by the BPP. Letters will be sent notifying the customer of their duty to test their assemblies. If no action is taken, the city may shut-off water service until a backflow test can be scheduled, passed and verified by the BPP.
