Air Force seeks to engage students who excel both academically and militarily. Students in most degree programs (undergraduate as well as graduate) enjoy funding opportunities, which range from $3,000 to $15,000 per year. See the Scholarship Website or talk with the Units Admissions Officer for more information. Also, once a cadet earns entrance into the Professional Officer Corp, they are enlisted in the Air Force Reserve and assigned to the Obligated Reserve Section.
