As far as we know the author is not affiliated with any religious group or church. As Vladimir Megré himself acknowledges from the very first pages of “Anastasia” and in a separate discussion towards the end of Book 4, he is not a person of vast spiritual background, and prior to the publication of Anastasia was only known as a successful entrepreneur.
