What are the Austin MLS regions and their boundaries and what is an Austin MLS area?
We’ve made it easy to get to know Austin in our Austin Neighborhoods Guide. Use the guide to learn about the Austin Regions defined in 2007 by the Austin Board of REALTORS® (ABoR) to help REALTORS® and the general public locate Austin homes and land. Another term you may come across in your Austin home search is “Austin MLS Areas”. Austin MLS Areas were also created to assist individuals in their property search, and at one time they too were available to the general public. However, once ABoR released the more consumer friendly MLS Regions, ABOR made Austin MLS Areas available for use only by ACTRIS users.
