What are the attorney registration requirements in Pennsylvania?
Pennsylvania Rules of Disciplinary Enforcement 219 and 502 provide that every attorney admitted to practice in any court of this Commonwealth shall file an annual registration statement and pay an annual fee for use of the Disciplinary Board and for use of the Pennsylvania Lawyers Fund for Client Security. A portion of this fee is also used to fund Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers, a program to assist lawyers suffering from serious addictive illnesses.
