What are the Astrological Houses?
The components used in astrology are the Planets, Signs and Houses. In a natal chart all the planets and signs are placed in divisions of 12 pies within the wheel. Those 12 divisions are called houses. The houses represent how we use the planetary energies and signs in our life. Each house represents an aspect of life and has a natural association connected to it. It was once explained to me in this way If we think of a play, the houses are the stages or rooms, the signs are the way the stages are decorated and the planets represent the characters in the play.
