What are the arrangements for clinical training?
This is given with close support and supervision of students in the following ways: • Appropriate communication skills are taught with case taking and interviewing techniques. • Video cases are presented and analysed. • Each student at the appropriate stage, usually in year three of the part-time course, interviews a patient with an experienced prescriber present who will advise, guide and correct any errors in the student’s case-taking technique so that good interviewing methods are learnt from the beginning • Clinical experience in the college clinics is offered on a variety of days during each month. Students may choose which days will suit them best. The Thursday and Friday clinics are usually just before college weekends and preference for these is given to those who travel a distance. There are adequate clinic facilities for students to gain a minimum of 150 hours over the course. Students may attend clinics by arrangement with registered homeopaths in their home area, but the co
