What are the arguments of the “official story of 9/11” supporters?
The burden of proof is not on the people who accept the “official story”, it is on the people who do not. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. (1) I have yet to see one solid, credible piece of evidence for the “inside job” theory that does not have a simpler and more rational explanation. (2) I do not believe it is possible to wire up large occupied buildings for controlled demolition without the occupants noticing. (3) I do not believe it would be possible to recruit teams of highly skilled demolition engineers who would willingly do this. (4) Much as I disliked the Bush administration, I do not think they were capable of carrying out a deliberate act of mass murder on a scale of cold-blooded cruelty that would make Pol Pot queasy.
