What are the application deadlines?
Fall Application Deadlines: December 1 is the online application deadline for PhD applicants who would like to be considered for a fellowship nomination. All supporting materials must arrive at our office by the end of the third week of December. April 1 is the online application deadline for all other applicants, including those applying for funding in the form of assistantships. All supporting materials for online applications must be received before a final decision can be made. International students should have their supporting materials to us by May 31 to allow time for processing the required travel documents. Spring Application Deadlines: October 1 is the online application deadline for all applicants, including those applying for funding in the form of assistantships. Completed applications begin the review process soon after they are received. The majority of Montclair State’s graduate programs DO NOT have specific deadlines (Those that do are listed below.) For those programs without a specific deadline, The Graduate Admissions & Support Services recommends that students submit their credentials as early as possible. Registration begins several months before the term, some courses may have closed and late applicants are less likely to get the courses they need if they do not apply as early as possible.
If you are interested in applying to the DC Teaching Fellows for the 2009-2010 school year, please note the following application deadlines. March 2, 2009, is the DC Teaching Fellows’ final application deadline for all subject areas except elementary education, which is full. However, due to the large volume of applications received, we strongly encourage you to apply as soon as possible to be considered for the 2009 cohort.
There are two application deadlines for the class entering in May 2010. Applicants who submit completed applications by the early decision deadline of January 4, 2010, will be notified on February 26, 2010. Applicants who submit completed applications by February 1, 2010, will be notified of their status on April 5, 2010.
