What are the application deadlines?
Rowan University Online graduate applications are accepted on a rolling admissions basis. Rowan University Online offers six 8-week modules throughout the year. We highly recommend that all completed applications and admission requirements be submitted at least 1 month before the beginning of the module in which the student wishes to become matriculated. (See Module Schedule) If you would like to start taking courses before your application has been completed (e.g., Rowan has not received your official college transcripts) you may do so as a non-matriculated student and enroll in up to 3 courses. Please note that financial aid is not available to non-matriculated students.
• Application deadlines for the fall semester: For domestic applicants: June 1 priority admission. After June 1, applications for fall semester will be accepted and processed on a rolling basis. For international applicants, deadline is June 1. There is limited admission for the summer semester. • Application deadlines for the spring semester: For domestic applicants: Nov. 1 priority admission or Dec. 15 for final admission. For international applicants, deadline is Nov. 1. There is limited admission for the summer semester. There is limited admission for the summer semester. • Decisions can be made on unofficial results, but official documents must still be received by mail before classes begin.
November 15: Early Action Deadline The University of San Francisco’s Early Action program allows excellent students the opportunity to receive an early evaluation of their application. You should not consider Early Action as offering either an advantage or a disadvantage in gaining admission to the University. Students admitted under the Early Action program have until the Candidates Common Reply Date (May 1) to confirm their intent to enroll at the University. To be considered under the Early Action program, you must have a completed application on file in the Admission Office by November 15 and must take the SAT I or ACT no later than the November test date. The Admission Office will make every effort to notify you of its decision by the end of December. If you wish to be considered for financial assistance, you must submit the appropriate financial aid forms by February 1. January 15: Regular Action Deadline If you apply by this deadline, you will receive priority consideration for
Round 1: For applications that are complete and submitted by October 29, 2004, decisions will be sent beginning January 31, 2005. Round 2: For applications that are complete and submitted by December 10, 2004, decisions will be sent beginning March 18, 2005. Round 3: For applications that are complete and submitted by January 21, 2005, decisions will be sent beginning May 2, 2005. Round 4: For applications that are complete and submitted by March 4, 2005, decisions will be sent beginning May 31, 2005. Note: the GMAT and TOEFL must be taken on or before the designated deadline. Your complete application must be postmarked on or before the day of the deadline.
Candidates who wish to enter the MAT program or the Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Certification Program for an initial teaching certificate must submit a completed application to the Graduate School along with all supporting documents by the following dates: September 15th for spring admission and February 15th for fall admission.
