What are the application deadlines for financial aid?
The New School has a priority deadline of March 1 for the fall semester and the November 1 for new admits in the spring semester. We will accept late applications but funding is often limited and we encourage all students to file before the priority deadlines. Some applicants may be selected for verification of the information submitted on the FAFSA. In those instances, as well as any other instances where conflicting or discrepant information is revealed, the Student Financial Services Office may request additional documentation or information from the applicant. All information requests must be satisfactorily resolved within thirty days of the request to ensure timely disbursement of funds and to avoid forfeiture or cancelation of awards.
