What are the amounts of monetary grants for a death or injury in the line of duty?
A. The amount of each grant considered by The Fleetwood Memorial Foundation can change from time to time. The fluctuation could be because of the family circumstance of the injured or deceased personnel. For instance, the death of a peace officer that had no immediate family would not generate as much grant consideration as an officer that had an immediate family of a spouse and two children. Each grant application is considered independently based on the unique nature of the grant request. The amount of each grant could be effected by the varying amounts available for grants from The Fleetwood Memorial Foundation Grant Fund.
