What are the ambient temperature conditions for my Gast unit?

0

• Answer – Our rotary vane, piston, and regenerative blowers can operate in ambients as low as 32° F; diaphragm units as low as 40° F. Ambient is defined as ‘the area immediately surrounding the unit within a 4 feet distrance from it.’ It does not refer to the area around the equipment using the Gast unit. Certain applications will have ambients higher than 100° F where our units provide satisfactory service life. However, this is dependent on numerous variables. Please consult our Technical Service Department if your Gast unit will be operating under such conditions.
