What are the alternate softwares (prefarably free from web) to photoshop?
Photoshop is an expensive program – the normal version is $700, the extended version is $1,000. There is nothing that the software cannot do to an image and it’s the standard that other image editors are measured by. GIMP is an open source, free image editor, but like Photoshop can take a time to master and may be overkill for what you want to do. Not everyone needs heavyweight image editors like these though and there are plenty of other good free image editors around that are much easier to use.
