What are the age requirements for tattoos and piercings?

In order to get a tattoo you must be at least 18 years old with a valid ID–no exceptions. No ID, no tattoo. That is the law. For piercings, you must also be at least 18 with a valid ID–if you are under 18 you may still get pierced, but you need a parental consent form.
