What are the advantages to using the PREVU* POC Test for risk assessment?
Based on the SCORE risk assessment, patients can be categorized as at low-risk, intermediate-risk or high-risk for CAD. The patients who pose the greatest challenge are those who fall into the intermediate-risk category, and this represents a sizable group, as 40% of patients can be categorized as such. These patients are neither at such risk that they require immediate interventions, nor are they at such low risk that they only require counseling and ongoing monitoring.
