What are the advantages to using the core facility?
The Pathology Core Facility is under the direction of Dr. Weiqiang Zhao M.D., Ph.D., a pathologist with clinical and research experience. He and his colleagues are available to offer professional advice with your histology needs. We are able to offer a reduced fee for our service to those who collaborate or assign release time to the pathologists in the department. We feel interdisciplinary relationships benefit the university and encourage them. We will be happy to refer you to the pathologist who specializes in your area of interest.
