Shrink wrapping does not allow air to circulate through the interior of the boat; therefore moisture builds up and can cause staining or other damage. While there is shrink wrap available with vents this still does not allow proper circulation. Shrink wrapping your boat is akin to putting food in a plastic bag and throwing it in the refrigerator (condensation, anyone?).
