What are the advantages of Vote Centers?
A. Voters like being able to choose where they vote. Vote Centers are more convenient for most voters. Voter participation has been falling for decades; counties that use Vote Centers find that more people vote. Vote Centers are also more efficient. Under the old precinct system of voting, every polling place had five workers whether 20 or 200 or even 1000 people voted. In the Vote Center system, we’ll be able to tailor the number of workers to the number of voters.
