What are the advantages of using tilt-up?
The main advantage of tilt-up is the tremendous flexibility that it affords the designer. Almost any shape, size or texture imaginable is available when using this method of construction. In many areas tilt-up is cheaper than masonry, while still providing the durable walls that many customers demand. The cost advantage increases where wall heights get to 40 feet or more. Tilt-up also offers an excellent way to construct insulated walls needed in cold climates or refrigerated buildings. In short, it is more durable than metal and more flexible and often less expensive than masonry or pre-cast. If a qualified tilt-up contractor is available in your area, it is a construction method that is hard to beat. We can work as a subcontractor or a general contractor, but our emphasis is on subcontracting.
