What are the advantages of using the PM5D V2 Editor?
One of the biggest advantages of using the PM5D V2 Editor would be the ability to make console settings even offline. Routing, GEQ, Effects and Dynamics settings may be edited and stored, so that everything can be set up prior to arriving on location. Also, the entire mixer state can be monitored on the computer screen in real time, so the PM5D V2 Editor may be used as an external display. It is also possible to control the console in real time. For example, Channel names and Scene names may be changed quickly and efficiently via the computer keyboard.
