What are the advantages of using the Multiple Agent Name and Address Change form?
There are several advantages in using the Multiple Agent Name and Address change form. There are fewer forms and less cost in filing and processing. Also it reduces the chances for variations or errors in the address that might cause problems. For example, if the Statutory Agent for 100 entities is moving their office to a new location and they used the Agent Update form (Form 521), they would have to fill out and sign 100 copies of the form, increasing the chance for variation or error and pay $2,500.00 to have them processed. With the Multiple Agent Change Form, the Agent fills out one form, check and sign the list and return it and pays a total of $425.00 ($125.00 for list, $3.00 for each change). Another advantage is that the Secretary of State’s office has the name and addresses recorded in such a way that the standard name and address can be used to eliminate variations in future filings naming that person or corporation as Statutory Agent.
