The Alteon Application Switch: • Makes multi-homing easy to configure • It provides redundancy (if one of the ISP links go down, then the other ISP link takes over) • It provides backup (you can use a low speed ISP link as a backup for a high speed ISP link) • If an ISP reaches its session limit, then Alteon Application Switch automatically deletes it from the group • It is easy to manage
