Diatec Monoclonals Human IgE is unique in that it is produced in vitro from a hybridoma. This unique source guarantees freedom from contamination by other immunoglobulin isotypes. The original IgE producing cell was obtained from a healthy donor tested negative by US-FDA approved tests for HIV, HCV and Hepatitis B. The purity of the product is >98%, tested by SDS-PAGE. This antibody is well suited as a standard in IgE quantifying assays due to its very low batch-to-batch v ariation. Other applications include immunochemistry and cellular immunology research.
