What are the advantages of using an Internet phone instead of an ATA system?
The internet phone, or IP phone, basically has an advantage over the ATA because it’s all in one device. You don’t need to have two separate devices like an ATA device and then an analog phone, you just have one single device that plugs into the internet. Also, the other feature is that the internet phone usually has more buttons and feature functionality such as hold and transfer and conference calling as buttons on the phone, whereas your analog phone and ATA device, you have to do a star code to do the same functionality.
