What are the advantages of using a pet-sitter as opposed to a kennel?
A pet sitter treats your home and pets on an individual basis. Your pet does not have to endure the stress of car travel to the kennel (and neither do you!), not to mention being in the kennel itself. Your pet is comfortable in his own familiar surroundings and does not have to endure the noise, stress, and spread of disease and fleas that may be transmitted to your pet during a kennel stay. Are you insured? Yes! I am insured through Pet Sitters Association LLC. Are you bonded? Yes and no. Though I am not technically bonded (which is necessary only if I have employees or independent contractors), I have something better. It is a property liability rider that is included in our insurance coverage. It is similar to a security bond, and offers more extensive coverage. Are there any animals you won’t watch?
